Question: When using SATA Optical drive under Windows® 2000, I found the transfer speed of my SATA Optical drive is abnormal. Can you help?(2008/1/14) Answer: It is because the default setting of Windows® 2000 will set Transfer Mode as PIO mode for SATA Optical drive, it is Windows® 2000 behavior. Please manually set the "Current Transfer Mode" to "Ultra DMA Mode" for SATA Optical drive in Device Manager.
